Response to Borough Council -13 December 2015 – 

Wilby Parish Council has considered this Outline Planning Application for 600 dwellings on land off Park Farm Way and wish to make the following observations

 1.Given the potential for a significant volume of surface water run-off during heavy rainfall to flow downhill towards the brook with flooding implications for Brook Vale and Main Road in the village of Wilby, we ask that an appropriate water protection scheme is included within any permission that may be granted

2.That a safe, protected pedestrian crossing point is provided from Main Road, Wilby to Northampton Road, Wellingborough as this is considered an essential requirement given the increased road traffic flow at this roundabout as a result of the only vehicle access to the proposed site being from Park Farm Way.
